A beautiful "Old School" Zinfandel, offering loads of up front fruit, while not being overly sweet, as seems to be the new normal for zins the past few years. Ripe blackberry, cherry and plum flavors are married nicely with anise, dried red fruits, toasty and spicy notes. The finish is lengthy with light oak and pepper tones.
