Made 100% from the Mencia grape, and produced in Bierzo, so ok you have never heard of the grape Mencia, or any place named Bierzo, but the wine is wonderful. Layers of cherry, blueberry, spice, cedar and coffee, are intense, but not overwhelming. This may well be the best $20 red wine in the building.
