Altos de la Hoya Monastrell 2008

Dark inky purple in color, with aromas blackberries, sweet cherries, anise and smokey notes. The fruit flavors are of cassis, blackberries and baked cherries, with pepper and spice coming in on the finish. Bold and mouth filling without being hard or harsh. A great little value that I use as my house red. Works great with BBQ and pizza. JTF
